Mark Jones is a photographer whose work needs to do the talking — and that was the brief, in essence. He wanted a website that put his photography front and centre, with minimal design, minimal text, and nothing competing with the images on each page. We built the site on WordPress with a deliberately quiet visual language: generous whitespace, restrained typography, and image-led layouts that let each shot fill the frame. Galleries are organised by subject so prospective clients can quickly find the kind of work most relevant to them. The site is hosted on our own UK-based LiteSpeed servers with a global CDN in front — which matters more than it might sound for a photography site, since high-resolution images are heavy by nature and a slow gallery is a closed tab. Even Mark's full-resolution shots load almost instantly.
