Becoming Mum is a support platform empowering mothers navigating Matrescence, providing expert support and a sense of community. Founded by two lifelong friends who are both Clinical Psychologists, the platform exists to guide mums through one of the most disorientating periods of their lives.
The founders asked us to design and build a website that genuinely supported the audience it was talking to. They wanted a bold, vivid design that would stand out — deliberately the opposite of the pastel-on-pastel palette so common on psychologists' websites — but without losing the warmth the platform itself stands for.
We delivered a clean, minimalist site with confident use of colour, fully responsive so it works equally well for a mum reading on a phone in the middle of the night and on a laptop during a daytime feed. Hosted on our own fast, UK-based platform with ongoing maintenance, it's a calm, confident online home for a platform aimed at one of the most demanding chapters of new motherhood.
As with most of our projects, we host the site on our own fast and reliable platform.
